Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026 · Effective for the marketing site and Dshule product platform.
1. Who we are
Dshule (“we”, “us”) provides school management software for schools, networks and districts. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, request a demo, start a trial, or use the Dshule platform.
2. Data we collect
- Account & contact data — name, email, phone, school name, role.
- School operational data — students, staff, classes, fees, attendance and related records you enter into Dshule.
- Usage data — log-ins, device/browser information, and product analytics to keep the service reliable.
- Marketing form data — demo, trial and careers submissions (stored and optionally emailed or forwarded to our CRM).
- Support communications — messages you send to our team.
3. How we use data
We use data to provide and improve Dshule, respond to demo and support requests, send service notices, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell student or school data.
4. Sharing
We share data only with processors who help us run the service (hosting, email/SMS, payments) under contract, or when required by law. Schools control who on their staff can access their records.
5. Data residency & transfers
We host production systems with reputable cloud providers. Where infrastructure or subprocessors are outside your country, we use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the transfer. Regional residency options are on our security roadmap — contact us if your board requires a specific region.
6. Retention & export
We retain data while your school is a customer and for a limited period afterward as needed for backups, disputes or legal requirements. You can export your school’s records at any time from the product.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and operational safeguards appropriate to school data. See our Security page for more detail.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or export of personal data we hold about you. Schools remain controllers of student records they process in Dshule.
